Now that we have seen how the Vardar F1-140 is, let’s go up a rung on the lineup ladder and meet the Vardar F2-140 is. This is rated at 1600 RPM, making it faster than a huge majority of retail 140mm fans already and this is just the 2nd of 4 fans here! Thanks again to Niko and EK for providing a validation sample for testing.
Let’s begin by taking a look at the specs courtesy the product page:
We see that the F2-140 is a standard 140mm fan of 25mm thickness making it compatible with just about every 140mm size radiator out of the box. It utilizes a square frame which is nice to see on radiator fans and, as mentioned before, is rated at 1600 RPM (+/- 10%). With the increased speed comes an increased power draw, but the 1.57 W (inclusive of start up boost) is still relatively low for what you get. Advertised PWM duty cycle of 30-100% is really good too as that means a minimum RPM ~460-490 RPM, if not even lower. As with all the other Vardar fans, you get a dual ball bearing inside leading to a rated MTBF of 50, 000 hours at 40 ºC (and higher still, at 25 ºC) and a 2 year warranty. Make that 3 years now, won’t you? Please?
Let’s take a good look at the fan on the next page.
