Along with the Coolmove 2 1800 RPM (reviewed here), I had also received the 1300 RPM version of the same. The faster speed version definitely ended up impressive- especially for the money. How then does this stack up in a field that has some very good fans already? Thanks to Pascal from Aquatuning and Hank from Performance PCs, we can now find out.

As with the Coolmove 2 1800 RPM, these are translated specs and for those wondering about warranty- it is a standard 1 year manufacturer’s warranty that is applicable here. This is a standard 25mm thick fan with a 120x120mm fan frame and the fan holes to go with it, so you can pair up multiple of these on a radiator without issues. The operating voltage is also a range given this is a 3 pin, voltage controlled fan and so 12 V by itself does not tell the entire story. A HDB bearing is good to see here, and will hopefully last much longer than the 1 year of warranty. Lastly, as with the 1800 RPM version, the starting voltage is specified at 6 V but may well just be on the side of caution if the testing of that fan is anything to go by. Let’s now take a look at the fan on the next page.
